Don't mean to be dense, but do you mean to say you're literally just typing "
notes://" into your browser? If so, that won't do much -- at best Notes will appear with a "File does not exist" message. Typing just "
http://" doesn't do anything either.
You need to actually type something like this (taking my original example further up this thread) in order to fire up Notes and create a document in a specific database:
notes://SERVER_NAME/DATABASEPATH/FORMNAME?OpenForm
If this still doesn't do a thing, then the registry tweak hasn't "taken" (and if I've misunderstood you, my apologies).
